Gabrielle Union To Star in New Sitcom – “Army Wives” Spinoff

Look out for Gabrielle Union’s return to the small screen—the actress has just been cast in a spinoff for the Lifetime series, Army Wives.
Union, who was last seen on television in the shows FlashForward and Life, will actually make her debut on Army Wives, now currently in its fourth season, in a special embedded plot to help launch the new series.
Not too many details or specifics have been released on Union’s upcoming storyline, but producers for the show say the spinoff show will be set in an Atlanta police department. The Daddy’s Little Girl and Bring It On star will play Detective Gina Holt, a partner to one of the original army wives
