President Obama visited the “Oprah Winfrey Show” yesterday and brought along his birth certificate. In a follow-up to a press conference held yesterday morning, Obama reiterated his decision to have the full version of his original birth certificate published…
He told Oprah that “we can’t be distracted by sideshows,” referring to the skepticism raised by critics like Donald Trump.
The President, who was joined by the First Lady, added that the issue was becoming a major distraction as the government attempted to deal with more serious matters, such as the national debt and investment in education.
The episode airs Monday, May 2.
