Beyoncé To Premiere “Run The World (Girls)” Video on “American Idol”

It’s official. Beyoncé will debut her new video for “Run the World (Girls)” in front of millions on “American Idol” this week.
The visuals for the first single from the singer’s fourth solo album 4 will air Wednesday, May 18, on Fox’s “American Idol,” her official website confirmed. Following the TV broadcast, the video will be available online.
Originally scheduled to premiere last Friday on VEVO, the Francis Lawrence-directed clip was mysteriously delayed. It was shot over several days in California in April.
It is unclear whether Beyoncé will be on hand to drop off her video, but her cousin hinted at a possible appearance.
